I was on my second Edgestar Icemaker which they replaced under warranty. Great customer service, but very difficult to contact by phone.
I don't think they want people to call with issues!!!
Anyway my second Edgestar had the ice maker module fail, so I ordered one in January 2023. It failed at the 2 year mark.
The module was not in stock and was on back order for 2 months. After waiting 2 1/2 months, I called and they said it would be another month of waiting.
This went on for month after month, so in August I cancelled the order and they said the refund should show up in my account is 5-10 business days.
After another month and not seeing the money in my account, I called and the rep said she could not find my order or the cancellation.
When I gave her the order # (reading it from the original order email confimation) and she said it must be incorrect because "their order numbers start with an 8" and mine started with a 1. I gave up talking with her.
I had earlier sent an email to customer service that I never got an answer from, but was now in my inbox stating they had refunded the money (no other details) and it must be an error on the part of my bank.
Although the reps were courteous, I felt this company does every thing it can to avoid a phone call from the consumer.
If I ever get my $121.90 back, I'll repost an update here.

I was finally contacted by a service representative from the company Living Direct. She was very helpful and she offered me a new ice maker but it would take 6-8 weeks to be delivered.
By that time Lowe's where I purchased the ice maker had ordered me a new one. It is suppose to be in on July 20th. I am still with out an ice maker. I have been doing the old fashioned way as none of my refrigerators has an ice maker.
Thank you for all your help. I really was not trying to trash this company , all I wanted was someone to contact me. They did right away when I put something on your website all be it a ranting rage.
calling me all kinds of names.Not sure who that guy was but he did not represent his business very well. Thanks again, Helen
